Found a great source of olive oil info aimed at newbies to the game like me ….
Charles Quest-Ritson has written a book so simple that Joe took it to school as his reading book. Nice section on regions of the world where olives are grown – according to Charles Q-R, Spain is the largest producer of olive oil – with more than 300 million olive trees – 170 of which are ours’!
If you are interested – and who wouldn’t be – his book is simply called “Olive Oil” and is published by Dorling Kindersley.
So olive oil wisdom for the day …..
